Please beachcomb responsibly and practice beach safety. Always face the ocean, watch for waves, and be cautious around large drift logs and debris. Protect wildlife and sensitive habitat by staying in open beach areas and keeping pets leashed at all times.
Even well-trained pets can behave unpredictably off-leash, and leashing helps protect wildlife, preserve natural habitats, and create a safer, more enjoyable experience for everyone.
Learn about the fascinating creatures living in our rocky intertidal pools from local experts during our Tide Pool Exploriences. Our guides will take you on a tide pool tour to identify and explore local marine life such as sea stars, anemones, urchins, and other colorful creatures. Tide Pool Exploriences last approximately one hour. This program is free, and registration is not required.
