Lighthouse Brew Pub opened up in 1986. We are the very first brewery on the Oregon Coast! Lighthouse was Mcmenamins' 15th location and there are currently almost 60 locations in Oregon and Washington. In 1985 a small group of brewers helped push new legislations through the Oregon Legislature that allowed brewers to sell their beer on site. Mike and Brian Mcmenamin, together with a group of Portland-area brewers including Dick and Nancy Ponzi of BridgePort Brewing; Art Larrance and Fred Bowman of Portland Brewing: Kurt and Rob Widmer of Widmer Brothers Brewing, sponsored a bill that would change the Law in Oregon. After months and months of boots-on-the-ground grassroots efforts, their work paid off. The law was finally passed, and thus the iconic Oregon brewpub was born.

Rusty Truck is a vintage Roadhouse. With traditional large neon lights accenting the wood bar and hardwood floors throughout. We take pride in brewing fresh craft beers in our on-site brewery, located just feet away from the restaurant. Currently featuring 12 fresh brewed beers on tap, for you to enjoy while listening to live music, or just enjoying on of our delicious appetizers or entrées.

The oldest continuously operating tavern on the Oregon Coast, Snug Harbor has been a favorite of loggers, fishermen and tourists alike since it became a tavern in 1934. The building housed Day’s Restaurant in the late 1920s, which is when the watchful hand-carved fisherman facing north on the awning roof, the whale carvings on the east side and the fisherman next to the bar were put in place. They were all created by a “famous carver” whose carved mark can be seen on the back of at least one of the pieces. His (or her) identity remains a mystery. The parrot head chimney cap was painted by Leslie, the current owner, who wanted to turn the chimney into a lighthouse with a rotating light. She was denied a permit because a light would distract drivers on Highway 101. Inside, the bar, tables and tap wall are all made from massive, old-growth logs found in the Siletz River. The fireplace on the southern wall was from rock slabs purchased from a now-defunct quarry along the Siletz River. Above the wall behind the bar is a long row of hand-blown glass floats. Glass artists from the Lincoln City Glass Studio adopted Snug Harbor as their watering hole years ago and gave floats to Leslie and Kathy Cherry, Lincoln City’s famous Barefoot Bartender. When Kathy passed away, she willed her floats to Snug Harbor, where they joined the owner’s collection at the bar.
